What are some killer perks that you recommend for less experienced players?

I've been playing killer for quite a while now and I've been wondering, what are some killer perks that are good for less experienced players, i mostly play killers like ghoul, wraith, legion, nemesis and the like and i sometimes have long chases while trying mind-games at pallets while wasting too much time.
