FYI: Stop Pretending You Don’t Know Why Black Voters Vote Left
I am a registered INDEPENDENT Black Christian (Orthodox) voter. I have conservative values but will not join the conservative movement because of the simple fact that I see the majority of Black people being treated as pawns/sh*t.
I will never join the Democrat Party, but wanted to just add that to the conversation. If you wanted to know why Black folk are staying on the “plantation” and voting the way they are, that’s why.
We are “welcomed,” “cordially,” and then only as voters, not fully.
The majority of people who are in the conservative movement treat Black people like sh*t—not those at the top or those who are running in elections, obviously. But the focus of the conservative rhetoric is hyperfocused on the trash of our community and say, “well, see, this is why this, this is why that.”
That’s like saying all white people are trailer park hilly billy backwards and incestous, and we need to treat them as such. Until there is change, I will never call myself a conservative, nor vote down the line for Republican. I voted for Trump because of his track record with my community. That’s all. And I voted for him 3 times.
Until conservatives first keep to the standards they have regarding principles, values, and beliefs, and eliminate that portion that turns away allies, Trump may be the last we see of a Red Wave.
Also, don’t call it a loud minority of people in the party. It’s at least 30 percent minimum. Good day.
