i really need some advice

i just got this game yesterday, ive seen people play it and i know its not an easy game to be good at. yesterday i played a couple runs until i actually survived, and i almost survived for a week. i spawned in rosewood for that game. i wanted to try muldraugh, and this is the most ive ever been mad at a game. i try everything, i set zombie spawns to lowest possible, i give my character 100 attribute points, and i just cant do anything. this last run i spawned in a trailer park at like 8 am, i spent all day trying to find a vehicle so i can just get out and be a little safe, but the vehicles i find are locked and no keys. ive messed with the vehicles settings, ive messed with every setting, and i just cant play. i try to sneak around but i end up with 10 zombies on my tail no matter what. like the zombie spawn is as low as possible, and theres still 5-20 zombies EVERYWHERE. like i cant do anything. please help, i wanna enjoy this game
