Is this type of behavior/response normal?
I‘ve been talking to this girl for roundabout 2 weeks we have been on exactly two dates. On the second date i asked her to be my girlfriend, it felt right because we have been mutually hinting at having romantic feelings for each other the whole time we‘ve been talking. She accepts, gladly with bright eyes and a giant smile. We keep texting and talking for a couple days and suddenly she isn’t ready to date etc.
This is not the main point i just wanted to give a quick example. My question is, even tho „objectively“ it hasn’t been long (the time I’ve known her) so technically there isnt that much of a connection for my brain to create but still somehow i feel so fucking awful now. To clarify, i dont have this response with every single girl i meet or talk to or date. If we like each other, but i realize we are not on the same wavelength, i dont really get emotional in that case. „well thats a bummer“ but that‘s it. But with people i meet and since the first time talking where it feels i could’ve as well known this person my whole entire life, in the event of a breakup or similar situations i just dont work for a couple days. People where since the first time speaking there is an almost once in a decade connection. Which was the case now, each text or word spoken was so deep and fulfilling, a feeling which she reciprocated, and i rarely have.
To end this of, i myself can rationalize if the relationship has been going on for multiple months/years (which i also had). But take this example, a couple days or weeks. Is the same type of response normal or could it hint at some unresolved problems?
If your reading experience is subpar, english isn’t my first language :/
