Question about laser hair removal

i started laser hair removal lately on my facial hair, which is brown, but both the lady at the clinic and I have noticed something odd

instead of gradually losing the hair that’s being zapped, my facial hair is turning blonde. Thick, blonde hair.

i have never had blonde facial hair before. it has always been dark brown.

are there any other trans people who have experienced this with laser hair removal ??
