The Shadow of the Collective

We continue to suffer once again because most people are either too ignorant or simply incapable of recognizing one simple truth: as a collective, we hold the power to bend the system to our will. But the system doesn’t bend. We do. We break and twist ourselves to fit it — and in doing so, the system twists right along with us. A perfect symbiosis of submission and self-deception. (You all love The Matrix cheer for the red pill, worship the aesthetics yet remain completely blind to its actual message: Wake the fuck up.) Instead of seeing a therapist, reading a few books, or daring to look honestly within, most of you choose cognitive dissonance. Because it’s easier. Because real reflection hurts. But soon, you’ll have to eat every last bit of the shit you’ve been piling up for years. There will be no escape. And when that day comes, you’ll be forced to stare into the mirror, point at your own reflection, and finally admit: “That piece of shit right there is the one who fucked everything up.
