I decided this “dead” time between holidays, and a full week off work, is a perfect time to experiment with colors that I’m unsure about. I picked up Highway Glow as a reward with zero confidence that it would work for me. I was surprised that I actually find the color very appealing, and could see myself wearing it in early spring. The color reminds me of those first spring buds that are the lightest bright green possible. It’s not a neon, but it’s a bold bright very light green.

On my left hand I tried topping it with the following, thumb to pinky: Green Eyed Monster, Foxfire, Mutiny, Banquet of Breadcrumbs, Maelstrom.

On my right hand I used the two I liked best- Green Eyed Monster on thumb & index, Banquet of Breadcrumbs on rest.

Photos don’t quite capture how pretty & glowy both BoB & GEM are as toppers for HG. BoB has a great golden shimmery glow, and GEM is slightly muted, a shimmery periodot color.

I’ve included bonus pics of Highway Glow with the current foster babies. I tried to grab a pic of me holding Jingle’s lil paw, and Bell stuck his paw in there too 🥹 it’s impossible to photograph them awake, so sleepy babies is what we have.

1x Hardcore base, 2x Highway Glow, 1x Speed Demon - toppers are 1x ea, plus 1x Speed Demon

I \*never\* would’ve expected this color to appeal to me or work with my skin tone, but I’m so glad I grabbed it as a reward. At least I’ll be able to put Banquet of Breadcrumbs to use, because that is such a pretty shimmer that just doesn’t work for my skin tone - but it’s a great topper for this creme! I feel like the photos don’t quite convey how nicely BoB & GEM work as toppers for this color - it’s something I’ll for sure wear this spring.

Tested out Highway Glow and was pleasantly surprised - added some toppers for experimentation, liked it with Banquet of Breadcrumbs & Green Eyed Monster. Plus bonus pics of the new foster babies 🐱
