2 service calls within 2 weeks, was the second visit necessary?
I called a compnay to fix my furnace a month ago. Heres an excerpt from the invoice:
"unit had fan function but not heat. After examination found that rollout was popped. Flames good, inducer drafting and temp range good. Replaced rollout switch".
Furnace worked for 3 weeks and stopped working again. Called the same company out for service with these resolution notes:
"unit had fan function but not heat. After examination found inducer port to be clogged. When trying to fix, pressure switch tubing was brittle at end, cut and resecured. Also took off inducer and cleared out debris to prevent clogging again"
Shouldnt the inducer port been checked and cleaned the first time around?
