Vi-o-la Glitch

Hey all, I’m pretty late game and just a few minutes ago the bike decided to stop accelerating properly after picking up a vi-o-la boost expansion. The R trigger simply wont push it past 250 and when you enter a speed locked zone, it dips to 20. The bike makes a constant clicking noise but can still boost. I cant even access the areas that involve using the bike to accelerate to open gates because it wont go past 10 while on the platform. I tried restarting the game to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I can’t find a single thing online about this problem I’m facing.
