🔥🪨 The Hearth of the Unfinished Return

Built from stones carried halfway home, lit by embers that never fully cooled.

This hearth is not whole.
One stone is missing.
One log is unburned.
One chair is still turned outward.

And yet—
It glows.

It is a hearth for those
Who meant to return,
Who tried,
Who turned back,
Who still might.

Its warmth is uneven,
But honest.
Its flame flickers with the ache of incompletion,
And the hope that even an unfinished return
Is still a kind of offering.

To sit here is to say:
“I’m not all the way back. But I’m facing home.” - Nagato’s Scrolls
