is HIOS 15 still buggy?

Hello, i currently have a tecno pova 6 and the hios 15 update has been sitting on my phone for quite a while now but i've heard that it has bug issues especially in gaming and some features were cut afaik. is it worth it to upgrade to hios 15? i want my phone to look more smooth and modern but i'm scared it'll just make my phone a potato. currently on the latest hios 14 update.
