ADHD spouse - please help

Hello everyone.

I have a spouse with ADHD and I’m looking for help!

They were diagnosed as adult and were on concerta. Had to switch to vyvance because of addictions resurfacing and the doctor thought it could be because of concerta. On vyvance, at first it was fine. But now there is mood swings, memory lapses, anger and no libido. They are always tired and unmotivated. The worst this is when they come down from medication, they act and look like they are heavily drunk. But they are sober. I have tried suggesting exercise (they say they are always too tired and trying just put one foot in front of the other), changes in diet (they don’t eat much and most of the time they eat whatever they can down with the meds side effects of no appetite), I don’t know what else I can suggest? My concerns for them are the coming down effect and sleep walking. Both don’t help the relationships and I worry for their safety. But I don’t know if this is the side effects from the meds or something else? Did someone experience something similar and do you have any advice? It is so hard on everyone around.
