New expectations

recently I accepted my job as case manager and they shortly merged with a larger company who is requiring on call rotation. I accepted the job without any on call rotation.

i think this is going to look like triage phone call as we don’t do weekend admissions but even so, obviously interrupts family time, etc. and work life balance on weekends. later on, I’m worried it would evolve to admissions on weekends.

would anyone say no/negotiate/thoughts?

it is salaried and sounds like there is no other incentive. worried if I say yes, like most healthcare, I’m going to be burnt out and taken advantage of and my family will be the sacrifice. I also cannot take on call for field work as I have kids at home and if my husband is traveling for work/I have no family nearby. also, im the mama and I’m not apologizing or defending my role and priorities. what would you do?
