How do I leave from this? I'm a bit stuck.
On and off for the past few months I've tried Astral Projecting. Various methods such as the rope, ladder, rolling out, falling through the floor, rising, swirling vibrations, etc...
Usually it'll go like this.
I lay flat on the bed, face up, hands on my thighs, and I close my eyes. I'd lay there for about 3-5 minutes before focusing in on something, like my hands or sight. Then eventually it feels like my hands go numb, and aren't on my legs anymore. Sort of like they fell off to the side of my legs on the bed.
I'd repeat this, going in and out of focus being distracted by sounds, my throat going dry, what not. But even in the moments when I finally can focus, and my body feels like it's in a completely different position from where I started, (even though I'm in the same spot,) I can't leave through any of these methods. Let alone move anything without actually moving my body, things sort of just slide around on their own without going anywhere.
Is it because I haven't gone into full paralysis? Not patient enough?
I even tried this reddit poster's method of letting your hands float on a sphere, but my hands don't gravitate to the center, they fall off to the sides. Once I actually did just try to let them fall further and maybe make that into a method? But that went nowhere as well.
When you use an exit method, do you just imagine it? Or are you supposed to feel the action with the imagined motion.
