Car recommendations

Hey everyone, my wife and I are planning to buy our first car in Ireland in the next 2–3 months. We’ve both driven before in our home country, just new to buying here.

We’re mainly looking for something for weekend errands, occasional daily use, and maybe a monthly road trip or two. Our budget is around €7k.

Do you think that’s realistic for something decent, or should we keep saving a bit more? Any recommendations on makes/models to look at would be appreciated !
