Catholicism and Witchcraft?

Hi!! I’m somewhat new and interested in witchcraft, however i just have a few concerns. To start off, my family has done some “witchy” stuff, all tied into God’s (in catholicism) work and intentions, using prayers such as the hail mary for such practices, but they don’t actively practice witchcraft. Though, they’ve gone to witches for help, and i feel some calling towards it. Though, I am a catholic, while i should be better in my practices, and i saw there are catholic witches, but i don’t even know where to start. Can anyone help or have give insight? The most i’ve done was a protection spell, but I’d like to know where to properly begin into practicing witchcraft while also keeping my catholic beliefs tied in.
