Is r/StarWars actually allergic to Star Wars?
For a subreddit named Star Wars, it’s wild how much it seems to hate Star Wars. Every new show, movie, or character gets instantly labeled as garbage, lore-breaking, or “not real Star Wars,” like enjoyment itself is against the rules.
Criticism is fine, but when everything is treated with the same tired negativity, it stops feeling like a fan subreddit and starts feeling like a complaint archive. Liking anything modern here feels more controversial than disliking it.
If r/StarWars represents the fandom, you’d think the franchise has been dead since 1983, yet somehow people are still here, watching everything, just to be mad about it.
Anyway. Carry on.
