Is Vape/E-cigaretts allowed to bring with you to Punta Cana?

Hello fellow Redditors,

I’m planning a trip to Punta Cana at the beginning of January. I purchased my tickets about a month ago, and in the notes it states that vapes or e-cigarettes are prohibited to bring with you. I searched online but couldn’t find any conclusive information, and even ChatGPT cannot confirm that there is a 100% ban.

Last year, I had no issues traveling with a vape to the Dominican Republic, so I wanted to ask whether anyone here has recently traveled to this destination and what your experience was?

Thank you all in advance and happy holidays 🎄
