is midtones 48 set enough?

hello everyone,

I want to get into alcohol markers, but I dont want or need a big selection since I can get overwhelmed easily, then I won't end up using ghtem at all lol.

I saw that hte 48 midtones set is on sale for about 40$ can and I wanted to try them, but I was wondering if I should spend the extra money (52$)to get the regular 48 set? (both are brush and chisel tips) im a student so I want to save money, but is it worth it? the main difference I see is that the regular set has a black, and more greens, and also the price. I see that I can layer, so I might be able to get those colours from layering or from mixing?

I want to make both portraits and landscapes. I mostly want to explore and have fun with them, I do like bright colours, but I wonder if there's that big of a difference?
