Romance?

Okay so I'm already like in a romantic relationship with shadowheart and like we kissed not had any of the sexual stuff yet but laezel just asked for a romantic relationship as well and I know some characters are open to poly relationships but like what happens with the characters who aren't so open with it? Like is it like persona and I get punished or what happens?
