[M4F] The Demon And The Innkeeper (Fantasy)

It's a tough business, adventuring. He starts by taking up a mission from a random stranger, one of the official guilds or just a piece of paper on the bulletin board telling him to travel across the lands and usually miles from mainland civilization. Next he has to prepare for this mission, buying supplies, any necessary weapons and repairing his equipment from his last mission. Then he has to actually make the journey. He can usually find an inn to sleep in the first few days of travel but as he gets further from the city, they become rarer and he resorts to setting up a tent and doing his back in on the hard ground. *Then* he has to actually do the **often** ***perilous*** mission which could be anything from slaying a great beast to reclaiming an artifact, from exterminating bandits to collecting dragon eggs, from finding missing people to milking pixies (don't ask, we don't talk about that mission). Then *finally* he has to make his way *all the way* **back** with evidence of this. All this could take between a few days up to the better half of a year.

Given that fact, relationships are pretty much off the table for most adventurers (unless they travel as a pair). Thankfully the title of 'adventurer' carries some kudos and, walking into a tavern with a big fuck off sword hanging off his shoulder will do more than turn some heads. The man in question, Dustin Silverskin, is a half demon from the fiery south, he specializes in 'human issues' which usually means hunting down bandits, although he's open to most quests. His keen wit and understanding of human behavior, he's able to entrap most bandits and bring them to justice. He's more than capable with a blade too, giving him broad shoulders and rounded arms. Demons are capable of eating very little as well, so keeping up a lean physique is hardly a struggle for him. He has trimmed dark hair and a neat beard which matches nicely with his dark grey skin. Other than this skin and a capability for incendiary magic, he possesses no other tells to his demonic heritage.

Anyway, if he's half charming and puts a bit of *oomph* into the living on the edge side of his story, he can usually get the pick of the litter to bend at the hips with a smile until he's left her curled up in his arms, his seed settled in her belly, with that same smile.

That doesn't mean he doesn't miss the idea of an actual romance though, and little does he know approaching this small inn in the middle of the mountains, that could be exactly what he finds here...

Hey there, I hope you like my brief sample setting up the idea for this prompt! What I'm basically looking for is a romance between an innkeeper and a demonic adventurer who keeps coming back to this remote hideaway to visit her. It'd involve lots of time skips between when they see one another and we could mix up how their meetings go but I was imagining a longer term romance developing from visit to visit.

As for your character, I'm open to ideas! What she's like, how she ended up here and even her race, let me know if you have a preference or we could brainstorm her together.
