TCL 32R84 - VRR Flickering?

Just wondering if anyone's been encountering VRR flickering when using this monitor.

It's the only monitor I've tried that I have encountered this with. I've tried many of the newer QD OLEDS/WOLED monitors without this issue, which i find strange.

I love everything about this monitor, except for this issue (and could use a little less blooming). HDR is super bright when the scene calls for it. hoping this issue can be resolved .. i can't find any drivers or firmware updates for this monitor though.
