New to skiing - buying neighbors gear
Hi all. Im a 25 year old guy and relatively new to skiing as in I’ve gone 3 times starting last season. My neighbor graciously offered to sell me a brand new pair of Rossignol Experience 75 skis for $100 with bindings. The specifications are 160cm, 14mm radius and the bindings are 10-DIN Rossi Xelium.
I am 5’9 (175cm) 160lbs and a very beginner skier who will probably stay on easier and groomed slopes rather than black slopes or fresh powder.
My question is - could these work for me and what kinds of boots should I buy? I know my size is 27 and that I probably should get alpine boots, and not gripwalk boots. Is there anything else that I’m missing here? Thanks for everyone’s advice!
