The Sad Demise of HID Lighting - A Rant/Vent

I am a tech and a lighting enthusiast. Its sad to see the old school mercury vapor, metal halide and high pressure sodium bulbs all being phased out for stupid LED, everywhere.

I am on a beach and there is not one single lamppost with an HID bulb on it.

Its all LED.

The Night is sure changing… 😔
