Trying to choose primarily between Yamaha RX A1020 and A1040 - would I notice a difference with my set up for an additional $50?

Purchasing USA

Essentially I spilled beer, didn’t see, and broke my Yamaha Rx A1020 after having it for 4 months and now I need a replacement. I was thinking of getting the same RX A1020 for around $200 and use my broken one for spare parts because it’s more than enough for my use, but some one near me is selling a 1040 for $250. I am already stretching myself a little thin having to purchase another receiver but if it’s worth sound quality wise I would do it. Being pretty new to this, I can’t figure out if I would actually notice the difference. I have a pair of B&W 683 S1, B&W HTM S2 and a Klipsch R-10SW. I live in a 1br apartment with small to medium sized living room, I sit around 12 feet from my speakers with them 1 ft on each side from a 55“ C4 so roughly 5.5 feet apart from each other. So not the smallest but certainly not a big room. I do intend to eventually move to some where I can add sides and eventually rears.

I feel like after 4 months, I use my receiver more for music than movies and I read that Marantz/Denon was more warm and better for music. Are there any receivers that would work for my speakers that any one recommends I look at? I am super open to any recommendations. Thanks!
