Internationals Forging their LORs: rant

I'm a fellow international student who is applying this cycle.

OMG I wish all people who forge their LORs get in trouble some day, because what do you mean you wrote it yourself? And even waived your rights??

I’ve been stressing for weeks over whether my teachers are writing strong letters. I chose recommenders who know me well, but of course, they’re not going to write like “This is the next Einstein” or “The best student I’ve ever taught in 30 years.”

BUT some people just wrote their LORs, talking about how hardworking, brilliant, community-changing they are.

I just hope AOs can somehow tell which letters are real and which are obviously written by the student
