Reddit user medium-jury-2505 said it best I feel we don't remember the same events.
SHIELD was not "hunting mutants" at this time.
They were hunting Cyclops for the murder of Xavier, his escape from prison, and his proclamation as leader of a mutant revolution.
The only reason they took a mutant into custody was because he had literally been in prolonged contact with Scott and could therefore possibly provide information leading to his capture.
SHIELD had no problem with Logan's school or working with Dazzler. Their main informant was even MAGNETO, who wanted to avenge Xavier's death.
So I understand that the situation in the US is shitty (fuck ICE btw), but it's completely distorting reality to say that Dazzler deserves this because she "betrayed" her own kind.
Especially since, well, Scott Summer's glorious mutant revolution is something we can talk about again. Lots of talk, setting up a school parallel to Logan's. Not much shock action against the authorities. He verbally fights with Captain America to look good. Nothing really violent nor transgressive.
He put the lives of newly awakened mutants in greater danger by forcing them to join him while he was a wanted criminal than if he had left them alone waiting for "Logan team" to find them.
Talk about a cardboard revolution.
And I say that as someone who loved this era of Cyclop.

I feel many people misinterpret dazzler role with shield as being evil it wasn’t
