Is it just me or Claude Opus 4.5 got REALLY bad for no reason?

When the team first added support for Opus 4.5, it was wonderful. Followed instructions better, gave better results, and was much more comfortable to work with.

Now this stupid idiot can't do anything unless you spell it out. I can do my work manually in the time it takes to understand what it needs to do. And the result quality has gotten so much worse. I like to write as a pastime and ask it for suggestions and ideas, "how can I improve this", etc. It was giving okay results before that can be worked with. Now it sucks completely. I can't even put it to words, it writes like the most annoying person you'll ever meet.

I don't understand am I doing something wrong? Do you need to make gigantic prompts each time you want to do anything with AI to get favorable results? It is definitely not my instructions page because I tried turning it off and this is how it went one time:

AI: (bad, dry, flat, garbage suggestions)

Me: This really sucks. This has (problems)

AI: Ha! Fair point. 😅 (repeats my critique in a fancy way and does not apply it)
