Help I've soft locked my game.

I've somehow soft locked my run on borderlands. I am on the mission "His Vile Sanctum". Right after you get Bruce's bombs. I left before I had used them to destroy the switches for the door. Now I can't get into the sanctum. Does anyone know a work around? Or a way to reactivate the lift?
