Nipple size exponentially grew at 6mpp and now won't fit in default flange size. Has this happened to anyone else?

My entire pumping journey (6 months) ive always hovered between a 21-24mm flange size. Sometimes I use my pumps default 24mm flange and sometimes I need to use the 21mm insert. For whatever reason my nipple size on one size exponentially grew from a 21mm to a 27mm within a week and its been uncomfortable to pump lately but bearable, but today it was so big that I started bleeding because it couldn't fit in the flange.

I could see if I was still very early postpartum and I was still regulating, but did not expect my flange size to fluctuate this late in. I basically can't pump anymore until I buy 27mm flanges ($60 price tag sadly).

I'm so frustrated and sad that I thought I had this all figured out and I get thrown a curveball!
