To play blind or with a missables list?

Hey everyone, I just got myself a Switch 2 and this is going to be my first ever Octopath game, and first modern hd 2d jrpg for that matter. I’ve had lots of back and forth debate when it comes to playing jrpgs blind vs with a guide to the point that dilemma’s actually affected my experience and fun with games. I’ve ultimately settled on playing jrpgs with a missables list and not a full walkthrough as my rule so I’m just wondering, how I should go about playing Octopath 0? My gut leans toward playing blind for this particular game just cause it seems so immersive but then would I be missing out? I’m not a completionist or trophy hunter by any means, I just want the best experience. I want to make sure I can settle myself on a way to play that optimizes fun and doesn’t lead to me feeling guilty. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! :)
