I keep asking this and always get a dismissive answer. There's got to be something to this game having *this* motif (that's too long for the title)

I hate to make the title use the word "this" but it's too complicated.

Basically, this game has TONS of motifs of not just twins, but alter egos, reincarnations, body doubles, Jekyll and Hyde, doppelgangers, pseudonyms, possession...

Basically, every single possible way you can have two people that are even remotely similar or split, are in this game.

There's GOT to be a greater point the game is making with these themes. I've never really seen anyone specifically call it out.
