Got complimented by a convenience store worker I used to by beer from

I ran into a convenience store worker I used to buy beer from. I bought beer frequently enough from all the stores in the area so they were all pretty familiar with me, enough that we’d have pleasant chats every time I saw them.

I’ve stopped seeing most of them since quitting

I ran into one today I hadn’t seen since the summer; there was a 95lbs difference since the last time I saw him about 6 months ago (click on my profile so see the difference; its the post just below this one.) he was stunned and complimented me, and he was happy for me that I’d been able to quit.
