Questions for moving

Today I got quantum fiber installed. I wasn’t aware or told that they drill into the wall for installation. I rent an apartment and am sure this is against the lease. My other worry is I saw that you’re not supposed to take it out when you move. Not sure what to do because I was hoping I could at least take it out when I move and use a wall patch kit. Any tips or information in general would be great!
