Food stuck in lingual button

Hi guys, so I have a tiny piece of food stuck in a lingual button (for elastics) on my upper molar, and I don’t know if I should call my orthodontist about it? It’s bothering me that I can’t get it out, but I feel silly for calling for such a small thing. I’ve tried getting it out with floss but it is really stuck on there. My next appointment isn’t for another month. What should I do?
