Welp, I feel like today is one of the worst days of my life

Long story short, my credit check was denied.

It's not because I have a bad credit history or anything like that, it's because I don't have a credit history. For most of my adult life I've only used a debit card. I've had and used a credit card before for a short stint but I stopped using it because I didn't like the idea of owing money back to anyone, and so I decided to only use a debit card ever since. I also don't want to put the burden on a guarantor/co-sign, so that doesn't really help my case either.

Financially I'm able to afford a brand new car, but I also understand it from the dealership and bank's point of view. They need to know if their leasing/financing buyer is stable.

The feeling kinda sucks because I worked so hard and wanted to reward myself, but at the end of the day, I'm just going to trust that this is a message from god and maybe something better is waiting for me.
