Why does the track add instruments when I want an acapella song?

I'm trying to generate a song with an acapella lead melody, with a bass guitar and drumbeat for the backing melody. But for some reason, the lead isn't acapella vocals and is instead a saxaphone usually or brass. How can I fix this?
