Tips on Zhangjiajie to Yangshuo

hello everyone, My current itinerary is beijing xian chengdu Zhangjiajie Yangshuo and shanghai for around 20/21 days and i was wondering if anyone would have a tip for Zhangjiajie to Yangshuo part of the trip, because, as far as i have researched, this part would be almost a full day just in transit - Is there a cool place between these spots that might be fun to add and make the trip smoother?
