Does anyone have any idea why pins are being released in UK before The States?

The mystery Valentine's Day plus Aladdin and Jasmine pins, have been released today in the UK.

In America they are not due to be released until January 27th.

This seems to be happening all the time now - even in some cases if the released date is only a day earlier in the UK.

Does anybody have an idea why this is?

Thanks.
