I like Eous but here’s my take , the game has been pushing the scene that Eous has been working for ages (Since his time with Carole Arna). See that the Proxies knew this and have wanted to explore the Hollows/lessen Eous’s burden since 1.X before the Bringer Explosion awakened them more. But their aptitude before was bad and they had to rely on him. So it’s perfectly reasonable for them to want to do this now and it was always bound to happen for their end goal.

Then we see Eous’s side during the New Years event where we see how much they love him and in 1.0 the Friendship Supervision event where he had a desire to socialise more/chill. And then the overworld encounters/Bangboo events with the Bangboos showing how far he’s come from being a shy little dude to a less so and sociable one.

The take that its “less dangerous” is also just invalid because back in the prologue/with Qingyi we see him vulnerable to hacking/had to get rescued by the Agents. And then in Chapter 3 when Victoria housekeeping had to save him. And the multiple instances where he’s almost attacked by Ethereals. He isn’t some tool and the Proxies treat him like Family so them using him less is completely understandable. And I hope the game does via the other sibling.

On them being in the Hollows? I personally don’t mind as their abilities in YSG demo show promise with its scanning/fastest solution and weakpoint tracking functions. And remember back in V1.4? When they tanked Bringers explosion. They have to learn that again in the future as well as some Combat techniques. This is the best way for them to learn so whilst it’s annoying I think unless you want them to be op quick time. This is the way to go. But I do hope they just learn SOME hand to hand combat techniques so they can handle some lower tier ethereals.

Ps. Screenshot , I think Eous would be cooked here anyway.

What do you people think?
