Any Tips?

Hello, I am a 27 yo F who has basically every symptom of a Hiatal Hernia. I woke up one day back in 2023 and my chest was hurting. At the time I had insurance, so I went to the heart doctor and was told everything looked fine and she couldn’t give me an answer for the pain. Then I started having stomach pain that sent me to the ER four times in one year because it was becoming unbearable. They couldn’t figure it out. Went to a GI doctor, had a colonoscopy done and was told it was diverticulitis. Changed my diet like I was told and still suffering with the same symptoms.

After reading threads here, I’m pretty sure I have a Hiatal Hernia, but cannot get checked because I no longer have insurance. But I suffer with chest pain everyday, sometimes if I move a certain way I “pop” what feels like a bone in my chest.. I have severe bloating and after I eat a meal, no matter what it is and how much I eat, my stomach turns into a large, hard rock. I have horrible hot flashes especially after eating, along with breathing trouble. I also suffer waking up from my sleep choking and have to cough really hard to stop the feeling.

I wake up everyday with no energy and lightheaded. My balance is so bad I have to constantly lean or hold something or I will fall. I was getting so sick of feeling like this that I started taking medication that would give me that boost of energy and make me “happy”, but now that I’m older and wiser, I’m realizing that I need to stop taking it because it’s not good for me and I’m just slapping a bandaid on a big problem.

I know I need to go see the doctor, but what can I do at home that can help? I am going to start going to the gym seriously and I am starting the Low FOODMAP diet, but any recommendations will help!
