How is Post War German gameplay?

I see Germany has a bunch of post war foci but how is it in terms of challenge and interest? It seems to me post war Germany is in to strong a position to be interesting- having crushed Russia and the International.

Post war Russia seems more interesting as you can fight the International and Japan.
