Constant feeling that something is off without any explanation
I (M22) haven't felt a single day since the day I finished school that I felt normal and like myself. Since then I was and still am withdrawn from the world, stuck in a way. Nothing seems to help, I've tried therapy, lifestyle changes, sports, medications but nothing helps. Even if I have temporary improvements I still revert to this terrible state where everything feels wrong and bad. My family is dismissive of me, which is understandable since on the outside I look like a lazy, obnoxious, annoying guy who constantly whines about that something is wrong when clearly there isn't anything. And in part they're right, and I do agree with them - there's really nothing wrong with me in any observable way, there's wasn't absolutely nothing preventing me from studying in university and making friends there, but I didn't, there was nothing in those last five years preventing me from learning some important skills that would aid me in finding some high paying job, but again I didn't. It's like my mind either goes blank, or starts to overthink, or starts thinking obsessively over some unimportant stuff, or just doesn't think in the first place. Another point is that I'm constantly anxious because of it all, those obsessive thoughts, inability to change both my life and my internal mental state, the fact that nothing really brings me pleasure anymore, the constant nudge that sits at the back of my head saying that something is wrong, but which I can't identify, the constant rumination, dread, tension and so on and so forth. In fact what I wrote is at best an approximation of what I'm experiencing, since it is nearly impossible for me to explain what I do mean. Also it is definitely not a complete picture of what I'm trying to explain. In short I feel terrible most of the time, and my chronic indecisiveness and relative isolation prevents me from making any real meaningful changes in life. Despite this I still do want to finally feel normal again, and lead a life that any normal and sane person of my age should lead.
tldr. Obsessive and possessive anxious and depressive thought which prevented and still prevent me from living a proper life that i should be living and are continuing for nearly five years at this point. Asking for a good way out.
