Rear alignment issue on 2011 Corolla

Hey everyone,

I recently replaced my two rear tires and had an alignment done at America’s Tire on my 2011 Toyota Corolla. The total was about $280.

Before the replacement, my right rear tire had noticeable inner wear/balding. The tech told me they could only align the front because the rear has a solid axle and there are no factory adjustments.

After doing some research, I found people mentioning rear alignment shims that can correct rear toe/camber. I’m pretty handy and could probably install them, but I’m not sure if that’s the best route.

Is there any other way to fix rear toe on these cars besides shims? I don’t want to ruin these new tires with the same inner-wear pattern over time.
