How to find communities?

Not sure where to ask, but I'm trying to figure out how I can identify cool boondocking or van communities doing a digital nomad thing or something like that. I drive cross country a lot while working remotely and just want to find the occasional work week where I can hang out with folks after work while on the road.

The groups I've seen are usually closer to commune, but I'm not likely interested in being anywhere more then a week or two
