iCloud custom domain emails on Android

Hi everyone

I currently have a domain I own separately, which I host emails for via Google Workspace which me and my family access via gmail.

We recently took out an Apple One family subscription as we switched from Spotify to Apple Music. As I understand it, this means I could theoretically use my iCloud+ subscription to supersede the existing Google Workspace and save myself the cost of that each month?

The only issue here being one family member is a staunch Android user. They currently access Apple Music via the Android app no problem, and utilise iCloud.com on the rare occasions they use cloud storage. However, if I were to move hosting over to iCloud for the custom domain, is it possible for them to use an Android email client to access these on their phone?

Thanks in advance!
