Dentist

My husband is 100% p&t and has been waiting ( 8 months) for his first dental appointment at the VA. He did get a community care referral as well but the appointment isn’t really any sooner or closer at that dentist. My question is, since he has an appointment currently scheduled at both, would you keep the one with the VA Dentist or cancel it and go to the community care? Not sure what to expect as it’s his first time utilizing his dental benefit.
