I know about black glass but what about stone/metal?

Black paint + glass = clean glass but anyone know any good color combination for stone/metal?

For wood only dark brown looks good for me and i'm not huge color expert.

Is there any good color for stone/metal? It's hard for me to do any good colors because how weird recolor looks.
