Do your parent(s) care about school or education?

I've always heard of students who's parents only care about their kids education, and nothing else, but my mom really doesn't 😭

Since she loves my younger brother more than me, if I ask him to help with household chores and stuff, (obviously not everything, just like mopping or sweeping) so I can catch up on homework and sleep longer or if I just have a lot of homework/late work to catch up on, she gets so fucking mad at me for not taking on everything for him. I often have to do my homework in the bathroom since she gets violent if I stay up late for some reason. Sometimes, she's told me that my studies are drawing me away from god 🫩

BUT she is all for education and me doing well in school when I earn some honor or some other thing or program to share on Facebook with her friends and extended family just to flex. Off the internet, she thinks I don't do anything and am useless despite everything I do academically and also for my family.
