Intended buyers not buying

I’m playing house flipper 1. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it so I got that one first. My son recommended it.

I’m a little frustrated when I buy a house and I renovate it with a couple of particular buyers in mind. I check with what they want and they need. I make sure to add those items. When I kinda get a vibe for their aesthetic, I make it look that way.

I just sold a house to the elderly couple that I was building for two or three of the young men. They wanted saunas. One of them in particular who I had in mind wanted a separate office. Plenty of filing cabinets for his files.

There was almost nothing in it for the little elderly couple. And yet they are the ones who purchased it.

My last house was a one bedroom with almost no kitchen for the guy who says he doesn’t need a kitchen. And the family of 100 is the one who bought it?

Why am I listening to the buyers if the buyers aren’t buying the houses that match their needs?
